Coming Together Through Language

We are high schoolers at Interlake High School based in Washington, US. When forming the Meliora Pen Pal program we sought to create a space of learning and growth for the international community of English-Spanish language learners, especially as the pandemic has brought a lack of communication opportunities. Not wanting to make learning boring, we decided to create a pen pal program that would not only enrich our students' learning experiences but also help them form cross-cultural links that will make this program a fun and meaningful experience for those involved.
